Shifts app is a schedule management tool in Microsoft Teams that helps you create, update, and manage schedules for your team.
Each team gets one schedule to work with, and you can create a schedule for any team you’re an owner of. Shifts app enhanced the web and desktop apps for those who run the schedule. You’ve got lots of room to do your planning and preparation for the upcoming day, week, or month and then respond to changing needs as they arise. Schedules - Create, edit, and manage a schedule with Shifts in Microsoft Teams. A Shifts schedule displays days at the top, team members appear on the left, and assigned shifts to appear in the calendar. Groups - Name a group like a job type or location to keep your groups organized. Shifts - Choose where to add a shift. Create it from scratch, or copy an existing one. Open shifts - Each schedule has an open shifts row. Add open shifts to your schedule that anyone can request. Time Clock - Time Clock lets your team clock in and out of a shift with a mobile device. Requests - Review requests for time off, shift swaps, or offers. Tags - Use shift-based tags to quickly communicate with anyone currently on shift. Share - Once you're finished with a schedule, share it with your team so everyone is up to date. FreshOps is your eyes on the ground, recording exact start and exit times, and especially important details. Our platform feeds live attendance records, time stamps, and productivity gaps straight to the platform, certifying the services you deliver are transparent and always available to every single client. The freshOps Employee Portal allows your team to view and manage their shifts from within a web app. Those that may not have smartphones can still log their Timesheets through the portal complete Task Lists and report issues. Use Tags to communicate with others in your shift. When you name the shift, it automatically becomes a tag. The tag can be used in @mentions on the To line in a chat or a post on any standard channel of a team. Shift-based tags let you reach people who are on the shift in real time. Notifications are sent only to those people who are on shift at the time the tag is used in a chat or channel post. For example: A store manager uses the @Cashiers tag to post an announcement to a channel for all on-shift cashiers. A nurse uses the @CardiologistsOnCall tag to start a chat with all on-call cardiologists.
